      Royal College of Art aims to make this form accessible to all users, by design and by the use of web standards. All items that are not self-explanatory have text help adjacent to them. The form uses UK English throughout.

      Accessibility Standards

      Pages validate as XHTML 1.0 Transitional. The site has been built using XHTML and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) for layout, and should work on any standards-compliant web browser. As far as possible all pages comply with W3C priority 1 and 2 guidelines and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0, Level AA conformance.

      Recommended Configuration

      Screen Size Form pages will fit a 1000 x 600 pixels browser window.

      Browsers The form can be used with a wide range of browsers, including: Firefox 2.0 upwards, Safari v 2.0 onwards, Internet Explorer v7 and v8, Opera 7.5 upwards, and Chrome 1.0 and above for Windows.

      Resizing Form pages use relative font sizes, compatible with the user-specified "text size" option in most browsers.

      Windows browsers, hold Control key and:

      Mac browsers, hold Command key and:

      Access Keys

      These keyboard shortcuts allow you to access, home, guide page and side navigation elements:

      Windows: press Alt and the Access key, then enter/return (Note: Firefox users on Windows will need to press Alt and Shift and Access key
